We spend 2 nights at this Muslim hotel. The room is spacious and very clean with a bathroom with shower ( the usual without partition). The bed and pillows are spotlessly clean and comfy. There is lots of hot water in the shower. The room also has air conditioning. The staff are very pleasant and always with a smile.

There is free wifi included as well as breakfast which is made up of mostly traditional Indonesian fare, but also cereal, toast, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. There is a prayer room for Muslims, and the room also has a prayer mat.

It is located quite close to Sianok canyon and the lookout point.
For good clean accommodations I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in Bunda Hotel for 3 nights with another 15 family members. It is a new, muslim friendly hotel. Located very near And walkable to the town center.
Check in was fast. Lobby was average clean. Upon entering the lift, we could see the spider webs and looked dusty.
In the room, my children's room, was wet from the leaking aircond. Thanks to staff who fixed it the next day.
The bathroom was not so clean. The floor wasnt properly cleaned. The shower not working properly. And there was not hot water on our 2nd day onwards!.
Definitely will look for other hotel should we visit Bukit Tinggi again.

I'm not saying this is the best hotel in bukittinggi, but with the price in this area that preety higher than some indonesian other cities, i can say this hotel is worth it.
But please be noted, i'm a type of person who prefer staying in a minimalist and clean room, than a luxury one.
I believe every people has different taste. The rest of my family said that our other hotel that had bigger room was better. Well i don't agree with them because that other hotel is preety old, have brown color walls, with oldies interior and a bit unmaintained.
While Bunda hotel is brand new hotel with bright white collor walls and clean rooms.
The location of Bunda Hotel also perfect. It's walking distance from "Jam Gadang" and "Pasar Ateh/Atas"
So if u are the person that love minimalist and clean hotel, with reasonable price (*bukittinggi's standard), maybe this hotel will suit you :)

Bunda hotel is good at what it does. It's new, rooms are a decent size for the money and very clean. Wifi available in the rooms but slow, fast wifi in the lobby.

Breakfast isn't great , but the dinner menu is ok. A short walk to Jam Gadang and all the festivities, 15 minutes downhill to Fort De Kock.

It is a Muslim hotel, b so there's no alcohol if these things bother you.
